Drinking Fresh Juice

Drink fresh juice on an empty stomach. Sip it slowly. For better digestion, don’t mix fruit juices with vegetable juices. However, you can mix fruits with one another; the same is true for vegetables.

Exceptions are celery, lettuce, and apples, which you can mix with both fruit and vegetable juices. In fact, apple juice is a great way to sweeten vegetable juices. Carrot juice makes a great tasting base for a mixture of other vegetable juices.

Drink fresh juice as soon as possible after making it. The longer juice sits, even in a sealed container, the more its nutritional value will be depleted. However, you can freeze fresh juice without much loss of nutritive value; drink it as soon as it thaws.
